$33.00
The newest addition to the Wildflower range alongside the Bianco, Rosato and Rosso, this Prosecco is juicy and bright and made for immediate enjoyment.
Prosecco has become increasingly popular in Australia over the last 10 to 15 years. It has found its home in the neighbouring King Valley, but it also flourishes in the Alpine Valleys. Unfortunately, as a result the summer bushfires all the Prosecco that Billy Button usually sources in the Alpine Valleys was destroyed be smoke taint. As a result, this years NV Prosecco is 100% King Valley.
Production Notes
The fruit was machine harvested, gently pressed and only the free run component of juice was utilised in this product. The juice was cold settled and racked before inoculation with selected yeast. Once fermented the base wine was racked and sulphured immediately to retain freshness. The wine was then stabilised and filtered prior to bottling.
Tasting Note
Colour: Very pale with a light green hue
Nose: Attractive lifted fresh aromas of nashi pear and melon.
Palate: Abundant fresh fruit of honeydew and a hint of green apple. Slightly more dryer in style but with an abundance of fruit sweetness balanced with gentle acidity makes this prosecco highly drinkable!
